KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 -- More than 65 local Bumiputera entrepreneurs, businesses and brands from various industries were honoured at the Bumiputera Business Excellence Awards (BBEA) 2021 for their business innovation and achievements.​

BBEA 2021 chairman Shahir Adnan said the awards were a breakthrough for the local Bumiputera business ecosystem as it took a holistic approach in recognising all Bumiputera-owned businesses regardless of size, scale or industry.

The Bumiputera Business Excellence Awards  (BBEA) 2021, a premier Award Programme dedicated in honouring exceptional Bumiputera entrepreneurs and businesses in Malaysia was held today at Hotel Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur.

The event which was officiated by the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC), Tan Sri Noh Bin Haji Omar, which saw over 65 local Bumiputera entrepreneurs and businesses from various industries, and celebrities getting recognised for their business innovation and achievements. 

BBEA 2021 yang buat julung kalinya diadakan bertujuan untuk memberi penghargaan kepada usahawan dan perniagaan Bumiputera daripada pelbagai industri serta selebriti atas inovasi, sumbangan dan pencapaian mereka walaupun berdepan dengan cabaran akibat pandemik COVID-19.

Anugerah ‘Kecemerlangan dalam CSR’ itu disampaikan oleh Menteri Pembangunan Usahawan dan Koperasi, Tan Sri Noh Haji Omar kepada Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Bank Rakyat, Dato’ Syed Abdul Aziz Syed Hassan di Hotel Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur.

Taking to Instagram today to share the good news, she wrote: "Praise be to God, today I received a BBEA. The Celebrity Entrepreneur Of The Year Award (Beauty & Health) was presented by Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Minister, Tan Sri Noh Omar, at Shangri La Hotel."

"This award has motivated me to continue to strive for the best whether in business or entertainment," she said.​
